Aria
Aria
Everypawdy, meet Aria!
Aria is a 20kg female siberian laika, estimated to be born in 2020. She was found wearing an old ratty collar with a rusty chain, wandering the streets with her son, Harris. The mother and son pair came to the shelter at the end of August 2022. Aria is such an amazing mother! She is a gentle teacher to Harris and absolutely loves people. Aria seems to have more experience with humans and enjoys being with our volunteers and even wanting to say hello to strangers when she is out on walkies. She is such a beautiful and happy soul with the brightest eyes. You can tell she is intelligent for sure. Aria recognizes good people when she sees them, and we can tell she will be someone’s loyal and special partner in crime one day!
Here’s what one of our volunteers had to say about Aria:
“Aria is so chill, and it's quite easy to make her happy. On our walk, we ran into an ajumma that also happened to be walking her dog. When the kind ajumma handed out treats, Aria was just so satisfied that she started to very calmly walk beside the ajumma and her tiny puppy, as if she was protecting them both. It was all just very funny to witness. Aria is also a quick learner and will learn all the tricks that you are willing to teach her, as you can see in her training videos.
Aria is a 2-year-old Laika who takes treats and pays them back in a lot of love.”
Aria is looking for a totally amazing forever family who will love her and who she can pour all her love into. Aria is an amazing girl deserving of the best human friend! If you would like to adopt Aria, please email us, and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process~

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
