Beau
Beau
Meet Beau! Beau is a 30kg male mixed breed. He is a gentle, friendly boy who was born to be a companion. He has a strong connection with humans and tends to walk well on the leash, follow commands, and overall follow his human’s lead. It is so funny to watch giant Beau flop over and show his belly when we approach him to come say hello!
Here is what one of Beau’s regular walking volunteers had to say about him:
"Beau is the sweetest boy and loves being with people - I can definitely see myself spending a lazy afternoon just cuddling with him. Even though he is big and quite strong, he walks very well on leash and is not overly energetic. He doesn't tend to run, and is rather curious and will sniff a lot on the way, especially after a rainy day. Though I never get to spend too much time with Beau, I tried to train this boy every time with basic commands such as sit and stay, and he always gets it so quickly. He is also not bothered with getting to know other dogs. Beau reacted so well to getting his nails clipped; it was a breeze once you bribe him with chicken. This boy is so keen to impress so he will do really well with any family. He just really needs a chance.”
We really struggle to believe that a gem like Beau has been with us for too long now without any adoption inquiries. Unfortunately, we know that his size makes his chances of adoption lower due to the transportation costs involved with larger furfriends.
However, we know that he is so, so worth it and we hope that you will consider adding this gentleman to your family. If you’d like to give Beau the wonderful life he deserves (and get all of the love from him in return!) send us an adoption application or email us and we will give you more information about the adoption process! We currently facilitate both domestic (within South Korea) adoptions and international adoptions to various regions of the USA, Canada, Germany, and more.

-
Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
