Bon Bon is a mixed breed boy who has been proudly showing his adorable belly to staff and volunteers since he first came to the shelter all the way back in October 2020. Bon Bon is a sweet submissive boy whose short legs and floppy ears make him look like a fluffy stuffed animal. Bon Bon was quite timid when he first arrived, but based on how quickly he perked up and started loving attention from people, it seems like he simply needed some evidence that humans are safe and fun! These days, Bon Bon is the loveliest doggo who is happy to spend time with human friends and is so, so ready for a life with a family to love him.

Here are what some of our volunteers had to share about their walks with BonBon:

“Bonbon is not on the high-energy side, at least not when we walked together. He was more chill and relaxed and focused on his own thing. When another dog barked at Bonbon, he simply laughed it off and continued his own little mission. But there is one thing that he particularly enjoyed - getting a belly rub. He readily laid down for that. Bonbon likes snacks, and he even tried to steal ones that were earmarked for his kennel mate Hershey. When we came back to the shelter after the walk, Bonbon was greeting the staff and volunteers with his wagging tail. It may take Bonbon a while to get to know someone, but I feel that once he does, he is an extremely kind and friendly doggo.”

"Who is sweeter than Bon Bon? I guess no one! He is about 3 years old and he is just so friendly and so good with people. He is absolutely loved by everyone who has walked him. Just check out Bon Bon doing the play bow. And if you bring him to a nice, calm area, Bon Bon will also just chill out and check things out. He doesn't get bothered by other dogs that are nearby at all. Bon Bon is just ready to go to his new home today!"

Bon Bon is a gentle soul who is looking for a loving forever family where he can have a nice peaceful life. If you would like to make this sweetheart the newest member of your family, send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process!
