Brian
Brian
Everypawdy, meet Brian!
Brian is a 28kg male jindo who has been one of our long-term residents here at the shelter since 2018. Brian was most likely abandoned by his previous family. Brian was found tied up to a fence with a chain for at least 5 hours before someone came to help Brian and take him to us. Despite having to go through such a harsh situation, Brian is still amazingly friendly towards people and just wants love from all the hoomans that come by. He does get a bit jealous of other dogs if hoomans show more attention to them instead of Brian. But who could blame Brian considering his past with abandonment. Sweet Brian just needs someone to always love him and guide him to have the best, wholesome life ever.
Here’s what one of our volunteers had to say about Brian:
“Now this is 블랑 (Brian)!!! He is from kennel D37! I have so much to say about this boy~ Walking this strong boy was definitely a rewarding experience. He is a big strong boy with a big strong pull, but he is the BFG (big friendly giant). As much as his size is intimidating, I know he has a lot to offer. At first, I was a little bit worried about his pull, but considering how he was able to heal next to me towards the middle of his walk shows how trainable he is with a little bit of patience and love. He is the perfect workout buddy, who can one-up everyone in running, hiking, and playing. Anybody who is looking for a free gym membership, this boy is for you! With a loving family and a warm bed, this boy will be your biggest supporter and protector!”
Brian is looking for an amazing forever family where he can be the only dog at home so he can get all the love and attention and be spoiled for the rest of his life! If you would like to adopt Brian, please email us, and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process~

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
