Butterscotch is a Pungsan mixed breed, weighing 30 kg, and was found with a collar wandering the streets, happily approaching people. This ultimately led people to contact authorities as they were startled by a giant dog running towards them. He was admitted to our shelter at the end of July 2020, but no one came to pick him up or claim a lost dog. Butterscotch is such a sweet boy! He is kind, loves people, and is very enthusiastic about going outside! He does pull a little on the leash, but simple training can fix that. He is not too high-energy and often chooses to seek shade and rest when he gets tired during walks.

Here's what one of our volunteers had to say about Butterscotch: "Butterscotch is a big, strong boy who is about 4 years old. He definitely has a lot of energy and needs some exercise every day. But once he gets his exercise, he walks very well on the leash. He is sweet - just like his name suggests - and definitely loves people. But this boy might love food just as much. He will do anything for snacks and can make a full bowl of chicken disappear in 10 seconds. Lots of love, exercise, and a bit of chicken, that's all Butterscotch will ever need!"

Butterscotch is an absolute sweetheart with a golden personality! He is looking for a forever family who can take him in and love him for the rest of his life. If you would like to adopt this sweet candy boy, please send us an email or submit an adoption application form, and we'll assist you in getting started on the adoption process for Butterscotch.

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
