Buzz
Buzz
Buzz is a 25kg male long-haired mixed breed who arrived at our shelter at the end of July 2021. He was found on the streets sporting a brown leather collar. We can only assume he was either abandoned or ran away. Either way, Buzz is a gentle giant who is calm and stoic. Even though he is young, he doesn’t have that crazy energy of a young doggo and he likes to just stroll at a nice pace on his walkies with volunteers!
Here’s what a few of our volunteers had to say about Buzz:
“Buzz is always very eager to come out for his walk which means he does pull in the beginning. He does calm down and walks really well next to me. Buzz isn't too keen on treats and petting. He is way too focused on checking everything out. I've walked him a few times now and I noticed he used to react a bit to other dogs. But he was really calm this time. He just watched them as they walked passed us and continued on. Buzz is more on the high energy side. We jogged and ran a lot so he will be a great running companion!”
“Meet speed-walker Buzz! When I first got Buzz, he was determined to enjoy the time he had outdoors. He didn't eat any treats and buzzed right on. I tried giving him pets and spending some time with him but he was only interested in other dogs and his walk. Every time we walked past a dog, he would stop and follow them. He's such a funny guy. It wasn't until we got back to the shelter and we were waiting for his turn to go back to his kennel when he finally opened up to me and started enjoying the pats and scratches I was giving him. If you are looking for a fluffy and good dog, Buzz might be just right for you! Please consider adopting him.”
Buzz is looking for a loving forever family who he can cuddle with and go for strolls on the beach with! Buzz can sometimes be sensitive to other dogs so he would do best as the only animal in the home. If you would like to adopt Buzz, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process!

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
