Chichi is a female Chow Chow who was brought to the shelter in February 2023 with her fellow Chow Chow fur sibling after they were rescued from a situation in which they were severely neglected. When they first arrived their skin was not in good condition and they were clearly in need of some love. Their skin has since improved and they began to show their true majestic beauty in no time! Fortunately Chichi’s friend has been adopted, but Chichi was left behind and is she still patiently awaiting a family who can give her the home she deserves.

Chichi is a chill elegant lady who just loves to go on a walk with her human friends. Here is what a volunteer had to share about their time with Chichi:
“I met Chichi for the first time today, and it was a pleasure! This girl is gentle and knows some basic commands already. She is not very energetic, and it takes a little bit of time for her to warm up, but she will jump up and down if she sees that you have snacks. Oh, she loves snacks - all kinds of them. Snacking must be her number one hobby. On the other hand, this girl is not a big fan of water at all, and she tries to stay as far away as possible. I can see Chichi fitting very well with most families, whether you live in the city center or out in the countryside, since she is likely going to be spending her spare time in front of Netflix.”

Despite looking like a big floofy teddy bear, Chichi hasn’t quite shown her cuddly side to us yet and we have a feeling that she will open to more affection once she is able to spend time in a home and learn that her new pawrents are there to love her and give treats to her forever and ever! If you would like to make Chichi your new fur family member, send us an adoption application and we will get you started with the adoption process!

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
