Chungsoon
Chungsoon
Everypawdy, meet Chungsoon!
Chungsoon is a female jindo mix who was admitted to Yongin City Pound in October 2021. She is estimated to be born in 2018. Chungsoon’s name means “innocent and pure,” and she was named after the charming first impression she gave to the shelter staff after being found and looking up at them with her big, beautiful brown doe eyes!
Who could resist that loving gaze?
Chungsoon is a sweet girlie who is so friendly to people and is just the goodest girl! She is quite food motivated and will become instant best friends with any human who has some snackies in their hand! She really loves coming out for walks, and we think that she will pull less on the leash once she is in a proper home where she can get the regular exercise she deserves. (Right now she can only go for a walk maybe once per month)
Unfortunately, as long as Chungsoon is at a city pound, there is always the looming risk of euthanasia if the pound ever begins to exceed capacity. Her risk is even higher because she has shown some signs of resource guarding around other dogs. However, when there aren’t treats or anything to guard, she has shown to be relaxed and nonreactive when passing other doggies on her walk!
Chungsoon deserves a chance at happiness and a warm, loving home, and as long as she is the only animal in the house, there is no reason why she wouldn’t make a great companion! If you’re interested in adopting friendly Chungsoon, please email us, and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process~

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
