Colby is a jindo mixed breed who was admitted to the shelter in 2017. When she arrived, Colby was in a very dirty and skinny condition with a leg wound. However, she has made a full recovery and regained her health. Despite being one of our long-term residents and one of the older dogs at the shelter, Colby has maintained her bright and positive personality. She has spent more than half of her life at the shelter, but her spirit remains strong. Colby is a sweet girl who adores the affection and treats she receives from our volunteers. She still gets excited for walks and adventures, and she surprisingly doesn't mind water, which is quite rare for a jindo! She happily wades into the river to cool off her paws during the summer.

Colby has been at our shelter for far too long. It's time for her to find an amazing forever family who will love her dearly for the rest of her life. If you're interested in adopting Colby, please contact us via email or submit an adoption application form. We will guide you through the application process and help you get started on the journey of welcoming Colby into your home.

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
