Dorian
Dorian
Everyone, meet Dorian!
With a smile that could light up the room, Dorian is an upbeat, gentle boy who has been waiting for his family since he was found in 2022. He was discovered on his own, with only a thick collar around his neck, leading the staff to believe he was kept outside for most of his life. Despite this, Dorian has shown a bright and cheerful personality from the beginning.
Dorian loves going on his walks with the walking volunteers. He is so excited to see everyone that he can't stop wagging his tail! Despite how big he is, he is okay with being picked up and carried around - he's so happy to get all of the attention. In the summertime, he especially loves playing in the water - whether it's a river or the kiddie pool, he's happy to cool off and have fun with his walking volunteer.
Dorian lives with a roommate, so he has experience with other animals. However, his primary focus is on whichever human is nearby - although he does like being with his roommate as well.
While Dorian will need an adjustment period like any dog moving into a family home for the first time, we think that Dorian is naturally good with people and would be a great fit in any home that can give him the love, patience, exercise and yummy treats that he deserves!
If you are interested in bringing Dorian home into a spoiled life full of love, send us a message and we will get you started on the adoption process!

-
Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.
-
Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
