Dorie is a 13kg medium-sized male jindo/lab mixed breed who was admitted to our sister pound, Yongin Pound, at the beginning of 2021. Since first arriving as a timid and defensive boy, Dorie has truly turned over a new leaf and blossomed into grade A companion material! He now feels safe with humans and will happily cuddle and play together! He gets along well with his kennelmates and just loves to go out on long exciting walks with volunteers. He is quite the smart boy and will sit, lay down, and stand up again for treats. He can also catch treats in his mouth if you throw them in the air!

Handsome Dorie has been at the pound for too long now and has overstayed his welcome, making him near the top of the list for euthanasia should the pound’s population ever start to go above capacity. To add to his bad news, Dorie has also tested positive for heartworm and he doesn’t qualify for treatment unless he has an interested adopter. Dorie is desperately looking for a loving and patient forever family who can give him a second chance at life and who can give him the daily exercise he deserves and guide him to be his most confident self! If you would like to adopt Dorie, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process!

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
