Everypawdy, meet Flora! This sweet girl is a small/medium sized Siberian husky that arrived at the shelter in May, 2021. Estimated to have been born in 2019, this sweet girl has such a positive outlook on life, despite what she's been through in life. Flora absolutely loves being outside and enjoys spending her time with all of the volunteer walkers that come to the shelter.

A volunteer favourite, Flora is a gem to walk, even for the most inexperienced walkers. Having grown to love her treats, this girl will do what she can to bring a smile to your face and get that treat. However, this girl has manners and is very attentive to her handlers, making sure that she's matching the energy of whoever is walking her. She also gets along well with other dogs, and greatly enjoys spending time with her roommates.

Here's what one of our volunteers had to say about Flora:
"Flora is a pretty girl. She has high energy and loves being outside. On our walk together, she likes sticking with her kennel mates Tin and Mia. She wasn't so crazy about snacks, even though after her runs, she seemed to enjoy them. Overall Flora came across as a relaxed and easy-to-train doggo."

Flora is now looking for her own loving forever family she can go on adventures with and receive all of the cuddles she deserves. If you would like to adopt the loving and active Flora, please send us a message on social media and we’ll help you get started on the application process.

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
