Harper is a large short haired mixed breed puppy who was brought to us at only 5 months old in July 2023 after being rescued from a dog meat farm. She is a truly special puppy who deserves a chance at a happy life. The staff who wrote her intake form describe her as “an adorable giant paw princess.”

Due to the likely terrifying environment she grew up in, Harper was initially very timid when it came to opening up and coming out of her kennel for playtime. Fortunately, our wonderful puppy socialization team took sweet Harper under their wing and have successfully shown her that she can be happy and safe with human and doggy friends! This gentle girl is growing more and more confident each day, and she loves meeting new human friends and showing them how good she is getting at walking on the leash and lifting up her long tail for some wags! She especially enjoys coming out together with her kennelmate doggy friends, and she likes to frequently check in with her walker and kennelmates to see that she is following their pace. Harper also really enjoys the water - she will gladly plop down into the cool river on a hot day!

Harper is slowly growing into her paws, and she will likely be a big girl when she is all grown up, perhaps around 20~25 kg. Due to size and appearance, it is extremely difficult for dogs who look like Harper to find adopters, no matter how sweet and well socialized they are. Whether in Korea or abroad, we hope that you will consider letting this big doofy sweetheart into your home and giving her the chance for the life she deserves. If you’d like to know more about the process for adding Harper as your new fur family member, send us an email and we can give you more information.
