Holland is a male shepherd mixed breed boy who arrived at our shelter in early August 2022. He was found alone in the city, dangerously close to the streets, before he was brought to us. From the moment Holland arrived, we could tell he was a smart cookie! He displayed trained behaviors like sitting and waiting, and he followed us attentively. However, Holland did not have a microchip, and despite being with us throughout the entire winter, no one has come to claim him. Nevertheless, Holland is an absolute sweetheart! He gets along well with other dogs and loves leaning on and cuddling with people. Going on walkies and running alongside our volunteers brings him great joy. Holland is a wholesome and special boy who truly deserves a forever home where he will never be abandoned again.

Here's what one of our volunteers had to say about Holland:

"This sweet shepherd puppy Haland - aka Holland now - is the cutest and smartest dog you will find. He is super fond of anyone who spends time with him, and will give lots of kisses. If you lower closer to the ground, he would even initiate a play bow and start playing. It is just the most awesome thing to see. You will notice in the pictures that he already knows how to sit for his treats, and he is very good at not getting distracted even with a dog growling at him nearby. Give him lots of running and training, and he will be the best boy in town."

Holland is searching for an amazing forever family who can provide him with adventures, love, and endless cuddles for the rest of his life. If you are interested in adopting Holland, please contact us via email or submit an adoption application form. We will be happy to assist you in starting the adoption process.

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
