Captain Hook is a 25kg large husky boy. He was discovered unchipped and has been with us for over a month with nobody calling in to claim him. So now we need to find someone who can welcome this boy and all of his majestic glory into their family!
Hook, like most huskies, is an upbeat energetic boy who loves to go on adventures! He is always happy to join volunteers for walks and he especially loves getting to take a dip in the river and shove his snout into the waves! Whoever originally brought Hook into their life likely didn’t know what they were in for when they brought home a husky, as Hook seems to have never gotten proper training on how to control his mouthiness around human hands when his neck is touched. While usually he doesn’t bite hard, it would be good if he can get some training to help him respond more politely to human touch.
Hook is such a handsome optimistic boy, and he just needs a family who can understand the needs of his breed, give him lots of exercise and love, and show him how to be the goodest boy he can be! If you are interested in Hook, send us an adoption application and we can tell you more about the adoption process.

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
