Issy arrived at the shelter as a young 4-month-old puppy in October 2020, along with her sister Ivy. Since then, Issy has been growing up with us and has become an amazing girl. She has been housed with both small adult dogs and young puppies, so we believe she will get along well with all dogs. Issy is lively and playful, with the energy and personality of a puppy. She also loves her food and treats, and she's highly motivated by them. She knows how to sit and is easy to train, especially when rewarded with treats. Due to her high energy level, her new owners should be active and enjoy taking her for runs, long walks, and hikes. Issy is friendly towards other dogs and can be a great addition to a home with children over seven years old, as she may be too energetic for younger children. She knows how to relax, but having a yard or access to a space where she can run around is important for her new family.

One of our volunteers had this to say about Issy: "Issy is lovely and very approachable. She was really excited to be out and you can immediately feel her high energy level. She loves to say hi to everyone by giving kisses. Issy enjoys snacks and occasionally sits for them. She was confident during her walk and even showed interest in the water when she saw her friend Cherry taking a dip. Issy can be curious and playful with other dogs, and I believe she would get along well with most dogs due to her friendly nature."

Issy is a wonderful girl who is searching for her forever family, ready to provide her with a lifetime of love and adventures. If you're interested in adopting Issy, please contact us via email or submit an adoption application form. We will gladly assist you in starting the adoption process!

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
