Jack

Jack is a tan jindo mixed breed boy who arrived at our shelter in January 2020. He is a sweet boy who adores cuddling and craves affection from our human volunteers. While he gets extremely excited to go outside, he also becomes quite nervous in new environments. Jack is not accustomed to cars, bikes, or outdoor sounds, so he prefers to stick close to a human companion for a sense of security.

One of our volunteers had this to say about Jack: "Jack was a delightful dog who had three favorite things - grass, spinning in circles, and walking alongside his kennel mate, Colby. I noticed that he felt much more at ease walking on grass rather than pavement. He also enjoyed nibbling on grass as if it were a salad. Additionally, he loved spinning in circles and playfully running circles around me. When he caught up to his kennel mate Colby during the walk, he became even more energetic and excited. It seems that Jack derives a lot of energy from being around other dogs. While Jack may not be entirely comfortable with people just yet, he didn't mind when I petted and touched him. Walking him was not difficult at all - he made good eye contact and focused on me when I attempted to redirect his attention. He certainly has the potential to fit into any family!"
