Everypawdy, meet Jensik!
Jensik was born around 2019. He is a playful male jindo mix who was admitted to our sister pound, Yongin Pound, in 2020, and we have been trying to rescue him ever since. Jensik is such a handsome, upbeat boy who wound up on the euth list simply due to overstaying his welcome at the pound without interest from adopters. He really is such an energetic ball of sunshine! When we go to visit Jensik, he shows his excitement by hopping and jumping around like a puppy. He just loves to look around at all of the birds and nature around him while he walks. Since he rarely gets to go outside, he does get very excited and will pull on his leash a bit, but once his initial excitement dies down he shows his affectionate side! He enjoys getting pets and attention from his human, and he especially loves treats more than anything!
This is what one of our volunteers had to say about Jensik:
“I am pleased to introduce the handsome and cuddly Jensik! He is a little shy at first. However, by the end of our walk, he was much more affectionate. This beautiful creature is ready for any adventure and full of energy! He is also so curious and excited to be with people. Please consider adding him to your family!”
Fortunately we were recently able to transfer Jensik and a few other Yongin Pound euth list dogs to our new private shelter location where they will be safe from euthanasia, but with our limited space and resources this is definitely not a long term solution. Jensik desperately needs a furever home who can provide him the brightest future with all the love, treats, and exercise he could ever dream of.
If you are interested in adopting Jensik, please email us, and we will give you more information about the adoption process!

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
