Jiro
Jiro
Everyone meet Jiro! Jiro is a male jindo mix who was admitted to our sister pound, Yongin City Pound, back in April 2021. Jiro was originally found wandering around by himself wearing a collar and a chain leash so he definitely belonged to someone at one point. Well, Jiro’s owners never came for him and he was only able to trade his chain for a shelter kennel.
As Jiro moves closer to his golden years, we are determined to finally give Jiro his chance to live not on a chain, not behind bars, but in a warm cozy home with the loving family he so, so deserves! Jiro is such a gentle adorable boy with a calm disposition! He is an absolute cutie with one floppy ear and a cute pinkish nose! Jiro enjoys his walks with our volunteers and loves to go around sniffing everything new and welcoming gentle cuddles! He walks well on the leash and he gets along nicely with other dogs at the shelter. Unfortunately, Jiro has been tested positive for heartworms, and although heartworm treatment is pretty simple, the pound will not treat Jiro unless he has an approved adopter. We are hoping someone will fall in love with Jiro and his cuddly teddy bear face so that he can get both heartworm treatment and a loving home he can enjoy!
Jiro is looking for a loving forever family who won’t leave him behind again and love him unconditionally for the rest of his life. If you would like to adopt Jiro, please contact us and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process!

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
