Kaia
Meet Kaia!
Kaia is a 18kg mixed breed girl with jindo features and a cute wrinkly brow! She was admitted to our shelter in December 2021 after sadly being hit by a car and sustaining a facial injury. While she is healed up, she is still getting used to trusting humans and enjoying life. Kaia has been really opening up to us ever since she has recovered from the car accident! It has been such a joy to see her interact with her doggy friends and our hooman volunteers! She enjoys her walkies with our volunteers and is delighted to just be able to go outside and enjoy the relaxing fresh air by the riverwalk. Kaia just needs a nice family who can give her lots of love to show her the world is a safe and happy place!
Here's what one of our volunteers has to say about Kaia:
"Kaia, a four year old mixed girl, is defined by three characteristics: floppy ears while she walks, a cute whine that she makes and her willingness to do anything for snacks. She enjoyed her walk doing her own thing, but would let out a cute whine when she wanted your attention, such as when she wanted to play with other dogs or if she was too far from her pack. She loves snacks, and knows how to sit and wait for one. She is also in love with her kennel mate Riggs and feel more confident when he is around. Kaia is a cute one that would surely do well in any home."
Sweet Kaia deserves so much more than to live out her life behind concrete walls of the pound! If you would like to adopt Kaia, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process!

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
