Kiki, one of our longer staying residents, is a 20kg gorgeous white jindo girl who has been at the shelter since 2019. She is fun, loving, and ever so gentle! Kiki really enjoys strolling outside and just being around people.

Kiki loves to explore, roll around, run, kick the ground, chase ducks, or just have a nice relaxing walk with her humans and her beloved doggy friends. More than anything, Kiki loves to SWIM! She has ever-so-slightly shorter legs than your average jindo, which makes it even cuter when she dunks herself into the water and starts paddling around! She also sits very nicely when you take out treats and she is very patient with waiting for them as well! Kiki is a sweetheart with just so much love to give!

Here's what some of our volunteers have to say about Kiki:

"Kiki's got the jindo body with slightly shorter legs which makes her look really cute. She absolutely loves the water, going in deep and instead of taking sips, she chomps on it. Kiki is a medium energy dog. She enjoys running even on the warm day, but she also walks calmly, sniffing and enjoying the affection and treats from the volunteers.

"A fun loving dog who enjoys snacks, running and seems to be able to sit on command; treats always help with this. If anyone's keen on adopting a dog, she would make a great addition to your family."

"Kiki is a super sweet girl! She was so excited to get to go for a walk with me. And when she finally burned off some of that pent-up energy, she was very content to get pets and scratches, and she was also really gentle when getting treats. I really hope someone will give Kiki a home. Just look at her face! And you can see in the video that she has a very sweet personality. Kiki is ready to be adopted."

Despite still waiting for her freedom after a long time growing older at the shelter, Kiki is still such a lovely and optimistic little lady. Volunteers love getting to spend time with her and watch her quirky antics. Kiki has been here long enough and deserves a chance to live out the rest of her days happily in a home with people who can give her love every day. If you would like to adopt Kiki, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process!
