Kookie is a 25kg male jindo mixed breed who arrived at our shelter in August 2018. He was found on the streets super skinny and all alone by himself, but now he has learned safety and has gained weight to become happy and healthy! This chonk is a real cutie. He has a signature white splash on his forehead so you can never really lose him. Kookie is still rather shy with new people and environments at first, but once he warms up he really enjoys the attention and walks from our volunteers. His temperament is on the more submissive side and he does get along with other dogs as long as they don’t push his buttons too far. He is a gentle and cuddly boy in need of gentle and calm energy to thrive on. Kookie is looking for his forever home where his real fun personality can actually come through.
This is what one of our volunteers had to say about Kookie:
"Meet super handsome boy Cookie! The photos I took of him doesn't do him justice. He has the prettiest silver-caramel coat! Cookie is a sweet dog who is on the shy side. At first, he was really shy but he quickly opened up to me! Cookie likes treats and being petted! He also loves giving kisses! I think he would make a great family dog for someone! He doesn't pull much on the leash and walks well on lead! He is a bit shy so he can get scared easily at loud noises or being petted suddenly. He does a butt dance when you pet his back and I thought that was the cutest thing ever! Please consider adopting Cookie! He is soooooo sweet!!"
Kookie is looking for a loving forever family who can give him the ultimate life with unlimited cuddles. If you would like to adopt Kookie, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
