Estimated to have been born in 2020, Liam is a young male floofy mixed breed who is literally a cotton ball! Liam arrived at the shelter in 2020 as a young 6 months old pup and we don’t know much about his circumstances, but we do know he is extremely cute and a definite looker! Just like the two other timid sweethearts he shares a kennel with, Liam is quite shy and reserved and often doesn’t like to come out of his kennel. Liam would prefer to just chill by himself in the kennel or, if we do get him out, chill in the grass. Liam is shy and apprehensive of new strangers and definitely needs time to warm up to people but that’s okay because he loves treats! He will overcome his fear and take treats from our volunteers’ hands if it means he gets a yummy snackie! Liam has potential to be a great fluffy companion. He just needs some gentle love and guidance.

“Everybody, meet Liam! Liam is a shy boy who is wary of humans and will flinch if you get too close too suddenly but he seemed to be curious and interested in other dogs. At the beginning of our walk, he pulled a little and kept wanting to go back because he was really anxious. We kept at his pace letting him slowing sniff and explore his surroundings. We discovered that he was more comfortable with his kennel mate so we followed them. Just in the short time we had spent together, Liam became more relaxed. You can see his fluffy raised tail! He wasn't too keen on the snacks and was just focused on smelling everything around him. Liam deserves a patient, loving family!”

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.
Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
