Louie is a handsome male Akita/Shepherd mix. He has been one of our long-term residents since being found in 2019. Louie has been patiently waiting for his chance to find a loving home. He absolutely loves being outdoors and gets so excited when our volunteers take him for walks. Louie is always curious and enjoys exploring new things in his environment.

He has a beautiful coat that reminded me of a German Shepherd, combined with the unique features of a Jindo dog. Good with other dogs: He loves his roommate. While we haven't tested him with other dogs, he will likely do well as long as they don't bother him.

Leash: He can be a bit of a puller but can be trained to walk nicely on a leash.
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.
Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
