Madeline arrived at the shelter in January 2023 with her litter of five cute little puppies who have since grown up into beautiful jindo mixes like their momma. Most of the family is still waiting for loving forever families to adopt them, including Madeline! We would love to see her trade in her tear stains for the happy bright expression of a dog with a cozy home and a loving family.
Madeline was estimated to have been born around 2019 when she arrived, but based on her mellow personality and her appearance, we think she may be a little bit older than that. Madeline is a gentle soul who loves nothing more than to go on leisurely strolls with a volunteer. She takes some time to warm up to new people and touch, but she seems like she would be such a loyal friend to a human that she can live with long term and build trust with! She also gets along well with her male doggy kennelmate at the shelter.
Here is what a volunteer recently had to share after spending time with Madeline:
“Madeleine is just really calm on the walk. Even though she hasn't done this walk often, if at all, she sniffs and acts like she knows everything already and nothing will faze her.
Walking with her, weirdly, feels like going on a road trip with your elderly auntie. You know you are not going to be bungee jumping; instead, you will be calling at the bakery for a cup of tea and some scones. If that's the lifestyle you are looking for, Madeleine would be a great fit!”
Madeline has likely had a rough life until now without the love, safety, and comfort that any good girl deserves. If you’d like to give this mellow little lady her very own cozy cushion by the window with the sunshine pouring through, send us an email and we will get you started on the adoption process!

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
