Melon
Melon
Everypawdy, meet Melon! This exquisite boy arrived with his siblings to the shelter in the fall of 2023 at an estimated two months old. They are known as the fruit siblings - Melon, Plum, Lime, and Strawberry. Melon is on the shier side, but is always willing to hang out for cuddles. He's one of the middle-sized siblings, not the biggest but not the smallest as well. However, this fluffy boy has the most smooshable face and always has a smile to share.
In the time he has been at the shelter, Melon has started to gain more confidence in himself and his surroundings. While he is still quite shy, he is making progress. He is much braver with his siblings around or another dog, which is when he'll let his curiosity shine through. While he's still quite nervous around people he doesn't know, when given the time to relax, he is much more approachable. With the volunteers he is familiar with, he is all smiles and tail wags - showing off his adorable smile and sparkling personality.
Melon is now looking for his own loving forever family he can cuddle with and will show him how wonderful the world is! If you would like to adopt the lovingly adorable Melon, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the application process.

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
