Owl
Owl
Estimated to have been born in 2019, Owl is a female jindo mixed breed. Owl is a shy girl and is afraid of the outside world. She is the type of girl who would rather stay at home under a blanket with snacks and cuddle all day! Owl absolutely loves all the attention and affection she gets from our volunteers and will soak it up! Especially when she doesn’t have to walk for it lol! She’ll gladly roll over and show you how much she wants belly rubs! She’s a silly little thing who just wants cuddles and peace in a quiet home. Sweet Owl just needs a furever family who can build her confidence up and slowly introduce her to the wonders of the world, then come back home to the cuddles~
Here’s what one of our volunteers had to say about Owl:
“This soft, furry beauty is Owl (D4), the World’s Laziest Therapy Dog! Owl may not be a *trained* therapy dog, but she has all the makings of one. During our time together, she was happy to stay still basically “furever” while getting pets & scratches & general pampering. She even let me roll her onto her back for belly rubs! There was no protest or apprehension whatsoever. I decided to rub Owl’s belly, and she was happy to oblige.
On the other hand, Owl’s extreme laziness was on full display when she simply refused to walk! Nobody could get her to take a single step. She made us carry her out of her kennel! And if you skip to the end of the video, you will see Owl enjoying being carried back in. Could it be that Owl is a master manipulator who has figured out how to make humans do her bidding? If being a perfect angel is her strategy for being loved and carried around like royalty, she’s totally got it down!
Owl will walk ... someday. But right now, she is content to lie around and soak up all the attention humans can give. She will never leave your side! Literally”
Owl is looking for a loving and amazing forever family who can be gentle with her and give her all the cuddles and attention she deserves! If you would like to adopt Owl, please send us an email and we’ll help you get started!
