Pixie
Everyone, meet Pixie!
Pixie is a cute, sweet little lady who was admitted to the shelter at 6 months old in 2022 and has since grown up in the shelter. As a medium-sized Jindo mix girl, Pixie is a cautious but friendly girl who has been patiently waiting for her forever family.
While Pixie is a timid girl, she opens up to volunteers and allows them to touch and pet her for comfort. She especially loves to be out for walks, wagging her tail and showing everyone around her bright grin. She has more confidence walking with her doggy friends but she can walk without them…especially when there’s a treat involved. She loves her treats and will wait patiently for them.
The walking volunteers who meet Pixie all mention the incredible potential that Pixie has to show her true happy colours - all she needs is a family and home where she has the chance to grow her confidence.
Pixie would thrive in a home where she is given a quiet, gentle space to gradually adjust to her new home and neighbourhood. She would also do well in a household with one or two other dog companions by her side. If you’d like to add sweet Pixie as your newest family member, send us a message, and we will get you started on the adoption process!

-
Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.
-
Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
