Podong is a cheerful medium sized male jindo mixed breed dog who was admitted to our sister pound, Yongin City Pound, in August 2021. He was found as a small happy puppy near an apartment building wearing a collar, so we thought he belonged to someone. However, it has been too long since Podong has been living at the shelter and no one has ever come to claim him or even show interest in adopting him! Because he is currently a longer staying resident at a city pound, euthanasia is unfortunately a possible future for Podong if the shelter ever gets too overcrowded. Let’s find this sweetheart a home where he can finally be safe and loved!
Podong is a very friendly boy who loves to interact with people! He is so affectionate and loves the hugs and snuggles! He also gets along very well with his kennelmate, and so he would be a good fit for a home with or without doggy friends. Podong has been growing up at the pound so he isn’t really that familiar with the outdoors, but he stays calm and positive even in the face of new environments and people! Podong definitely deserves to be able to have his own forever family where he can play and relax!

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.
Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
