Reeces is a young male jindo mixed breed who was admitted to our shelter at the beginning of October 2020 as a small baby puppy. He was brought in with his mother and siblings after being abandoned on the streets. We named them our Halloween Family, as all of Reeces and his siblings were named after everyone's favorite Halloween candy! Reeces is the only one from his entire family who has not been adopted yet. While his siblings and mother found their forever homes at the start of 2021, Reeces has been waiting for a year. He did have an adopter when he was younger, but they backed out at the last minute, leaving Reeces alone and left behind. Initially, he was a bit shy being the only one left from his family, but his kennelmates have been helping him gain confidence and feel wanted. Let's work together to find Reeces his forever home!

Here is a message from Reeces: "I am a shy boy, but I love playing and running with my brothers. Now that they are leaving, I will be very lonely. I would love a family with a friendly doggo that I can play and run around with. Maybe they will be able to show me how to trust humans. I like the ladies, but if there is a big man, I get a bit frightened and try to hide. I can be bribed with snacks and cuddles, but as a shy boy, I need a patient parent."

Reeces will thrive in a home with a friendly and calm older female dog who can help him come out of his shell. He will also do well with children over 11 years old or very calm younger children.

If you are interested in adopting Reeces, please contact us via Email or submit an adoption application form. We will be happy to assist you in starting the adoption process.

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
