Riley arrived at the shelter when he was just a few months old and has grown up there. He is now approximately five years old and ready to find his forever home. Last year, when Riley changed cages, he blossomed so much! He used to be extremely shy and scared of the outside world, but he has made significant progress.

Here's what our volunteers have to say about him:
"Riley is a beautiful and sweet dog who enjoys being touched and will give face licks when he feels comfortable! He seems to have had limited experience on the leash and needs more practice to become comfortable during walks. Initially, he is quite fearful and would resist if guided by the leash, so we let him lead the way, and he appeared more at ease that way. With time and patience, Riley's true self will shine, and he will be a loving companion to someone, enjoying a cozy corner of the house where he feels safe!"
"He's a shy boy who thrives in a quiet environment with a loving fur parent who is patient and exudes a calm energy. I could see his curiosity about his surroundings and the outside world, and with each passing minute, his confidence grew, wagging his tail in response to affection. He has the potential to become the best cuddle buddy."

Riley deserves to experience the feeling of living in a safe, warm home with a loving family. If you are interested in adopting Riley, please contact us via email or submit an adoption application form. We'll be happy to assist you in getting started with the adoption process!

    • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

    • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

    • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
