Estimated to have been born in 2018, Sanho is a male mixed breed who was admitted to our sister pound, Yongin Pound, at the beginning of 2021. He was unfortunately placed on the euth list early on in his shelter stay because of behavior and a positive heartworm diagnosis (which he can only get treated once he has an adopter), and we’ve managed to keep him around by getting other dogs adopted to make more space.
Sanho was originally placed on the list because he displayed some nervous aggression when he first arrived, and he was declared not good with people and other dogs. We have been observing and interacting with Sanho and we realized really quickly that Sanho is just a big misunderstood lover boy! He enjoys treats and pets, and is very willing to listen and receive our affection for all the yummy snacks we have! He is also a very good walker on the leash. Sanho is funny because he acts very stoic and focused while sniffing on his walks, but once the treats come out, he starts jumping and wagging like a little puppy!
Due to his reactiveness to other dogs and occasional sensitivity with people making sudden movements, Sanho would do best in a quiet home with an experienced owner who understands dog body language well. Sanho is desperately looking for a patient and loving forever family who can give him the second chance he deserves and guide him to a wonderful life! Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.
Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
