Sophie
Sophie
Sophie is in search of her forever home, especially now that her longtime companion has found his forever home in the US. We are eager to find Sophie the loving home she deserves, as she has been at the shelter for over three years!
Sophie is a Jindo/Sharpei mix, and many of our volunteers absolutely adore her and are rooting for her to find her forever family during the holiday season.
Here's what our volunteers have to say about her:
"She is a sweet, adventurous girl who absolutely loves the water. Despite living at the shelter for over three years, she maintains a great attitude and is really friendly with people and other dogs. She walks well on a leash, although she can get excited near the water and almost pulled me in once, haha. I know she will blossom beautifully when she receives the love and attention she deserves."
"Sophie is a strong, independent woman who would love to have a human of her own! She enjoys attention but also likes to do her own thing at times. Her idea of a fun time is exploring every new surface she encounters. She's very curious!"
Choosing to adopt a long-stay dog is a truly special and rewarding decision. If you have any questions about the adoption process or about Sophie, please contact us via email. We would be delighted to address any inquiries you may have.
If you are interested in fostering Sophie, we can certainly make the necessary arrangements as well.

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.
-
Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
