EUTHANASIA LISTED at YONGIN CITY POUND!
Estimated to have been born in 2019, Stay is a brindle jindo mix who arrived at Yongin pound only a few months ago yet landed himself at the top of the euthanasia list rather quickly. He is a cute tiger-striped boy who wags his tail when he sees people coming from a distance. We don’t know what Stay has been through in his life prior to arriving at the pound, but his timid nature and fear aggression to unfamiliar people evidence that he definitely has not had the sort of experience that any dog or human deserves. The shelter put him on the Euth list as he reacted aggressively when staff came too close to him too quickly - but with trauma like his, how could someone expect him to get over it without giving him a good environment and a proper chance to trust? As it turned out, Stay ended up making SUCH tremendous progress when one volunteer came to visit him with slow approaches, letting him regain trust at his own pace. Before long, the two of them started to come out for walks together and Stay would happily enjoy walking, taking treats from her hand, and even letting her pet him on his face and neck! He even let her change his collar to a more comfortable adjustment. He did not appear to react to other dogs on the walk, either.
Stay does not deserve to be punished for trauma that was not his fault. He has already proven that all it takes is patience and love for him to begin to show his true happy colors! He is a low energy dog who just needs to know that someone has his back. Stay is looking for an experienced forever family who can give him a second chance at life with lots of patience, love, and delicious treats! If you would like to be Stay’s new family, send us an email and we can let you know more about the adoption process!
