Velma
Everyone, meet Velma!
With the looks of a lab and the personality of a Jindo, Velma is an adorable girl. She is a sweet, calm girl who entered the shelter in April 2023. She has been waiting for a family since then, and she is more than ready to light up someone's world with her adorable personality.
Velma likes to take things at her own pace - simplicity is okay with her. She loves her walks and is remarkably gentle with whichever walking volunteer accompanies her. She rarely pulls on her leash and is more interested in taking in all of the scents around her, letting her nose guide her on her adventures. Velma is more cautious by nature, but she is won over if you have a treat in your hand. Once she opens up, Velma is happy to show you her adorable smile
We think Velma would thrive in a home where she can have her own space to relax, and of course lots of opportunities to sniff around outside when she would like to! If you’d like to add Velma to your family, send us a message, and we will get you started on the adoption process!

-
Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.
-
Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
