Yangpa, a member of the “Veggie Family” is a male jindo mixed breed who is about 1.5 years old now! He arrived at our shelter at the end of October 2021 after being abandoned in a cardboard box with his 5 siblings, along with their mother, Paprika. Yangpa and his family members are all named after vegetables! Yangpa’s name means Onion in Korean, and he can’t wait to show you all the layers of his personality! Yangpa’s sister, Bechu, has already found her forever home and now it’s Yangpa and his brothers and sister waiting for their turn to find their loving families. When Yangpa was a tiny little pup, he had more grey incorporated with his cream coat and his ears were bordered with a tan color which has now evened out to a fluffy cream coat! Yangpa was one of the smaller boys of the Veggie Siblings but he has grown beyond all our expectations! He is a big fluffy boy and he is also very gentle! He is a very curious boy and sees anything as toys and he gets super excited when us hoomans go play with him and his siblings! He also loves to cuddle and is very docile when picked up. He just loves the cuddles, and loves to go on walkies with his brothers and sister!
Yangpa is now looking for a loving forever home who can give him a happy and positive life! This wholesome boy deserves to be loved and protected! If you would like to adopt sweet Yangpa, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process.

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
