Everypawdy, meet Yooshim!
Yooshim is a male jindo mixed breed born around 2016. He was admitted to our sister pound, Yongin Pound, at the end of December 2019. He was found in a neighborhood with a green collar and a leash as well. So it must be that Yooshim had an owner. Yooshim was also tested positive for heartworms. Yooshim was incredibly nervous when he first came to the pound and quite shy around strangers. Because of his
incredible shyness, a year quickly passed without anyone wanting to adopt him, so the pound placed him on the 2021 Euthanasia List. We saw his potential and promoted his adoption, and someone reached out!
We got Yooshim out of the pound and started with his heartworm treatment at our associated Boarding School. He was living comfortably at the school waiting for his flight home, however, the adopter backed out of adopting Yooshim. Now, Yooshim is waiting at the Boarding School for someone new who will take him home. Being at the school has really transformed Yooshim for the better! He has been able to open up to making new furfriends and hooman friends. He started to follow us around wagging his tail and asking for treats and love! We’re not giving up on Yooshim yet! We’re sure someone out there can be Yooshim’s forever family!
